Practice Policies

Payment & Billing

Accepted payment methods include credit cards, debit cards, FSA (Flexible Spending Account), and HSA (Health Savings Account) cards. A signed agreement and a credit card on file are required before we begin.

To ensure our time together is completely focused on your healing rather than administration, I utilize a morning-of billing protocol for all scheduled sessions. All payments are final, and no refunds will be issued for missed, canceled, or partially attended sessions.

Scheduling & Cancellations

To make managing your care as seamless as possible, all scheduling is handled directly through a secure client portal, and calendar openings operate on a first-come, first-scheduled basis. Because your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you, I require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or schedule changes, though a 48-hour courtesy notice is always deeply appreciated.

Do you accept insurance or provide superbills?

No. I am a private-pay-only provider. I am not an in-network or out-of-network provider with any insurance companies, and I do not issue superbills. This allows us to focus entirely on your clinical needs and personal goals without the restrictions, mandatory diagnoses, or oversight often imposed by insurance companies.

What is your approach to therapy?

My approach is not a one-size-fits-all model. Instead, I use a collaborative, integrated style, drawing from evidence-based practices to meet your specific needs. My work is always trauma-informed, meaning I prioritize creating a safe, trustworthy environment so we can move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

How long does therapy take?

The duration of therapy is highly individual. Some clients come for focused work using Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to process a specific trauma in a few sessions, while others prefer a longer-term approach to navigate generational patterns and identity work. We will collaborate to find a pace that fits your goals.

What is the first step?

The first step is a complimentary consultation. This is a brief conversation where we can discuss what you’re looking for and ensure we are a good fit for the work ahead.
